Miniature Tehillim, Budapest 1941. Printed in Hungary in the Midst of the Holocaust

A miniature Tehillim with the commentary of Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum Av Beit Din of Ujhely, Budapest 1941. 

Printed during the Holocaust at a time of suffering and travails. The Hebrew printing presses in most of the places under German occupation stopped functioning, however, in Hungary books continued to be printed from great self-sacrifice and in difficult conditions.

352 [2] leaves, 12 cm. Original decorated binding with gilded writing on the spine. Spine is partially detached. Fine condition.
