Proclamation of the Irgun Tzva'i Leumi: "To Our Arab Neighbors." Before the Establishment of the State
Rare proclamation distributed before the establishment of the state by the Irgun Tzva'i Leumi.
"To our Arab neighbors ... the British government cannot stay much longer in our country. Everyone demands its removal. Everyone acknowledges that it has no right to exist. But Britain will not easily give up on our country ... Our Arab neighbors! Do not be deceived by the demonic game of the British enslavers! You know that we are only fighting the cursed enslavers and not you, you know that we want to build our homeland together with you in a free and flourishing country, where there will be light and happiness and progress to all its children - citizens ... We caution you: leave your Jewish neighbors alone! We call on you: Strike the British enslaver together with us!"
The emblem of the organization and the inscription "רק כך" ("Only Thus") is on the upper part of the proclamation.
