Envelope sent to Dachau, with Letter Inside, Rare Stamps, 1942
Envelope sent to one of the prisoners in the Dachau concentration camp in October, 1942, from Bohemia, with the original letter. Due to the fact that prisoners were not permitted to receive unlimited mail, just once a month or less often, this envelope was rejected and stamped with two stamps in German: One: "Return to Sender," and the second, "Return, Already Received Mail."
It is rare to encounter mail that was returned from concentration camps.
Very fine condition, slight opening on the left side.
