An iron battle axe featuring a rounded socket and a long head, flaring towards the blade. Beyond the battlefield, Viking axes served various practical purposes in everyday life. They were indispensable tools for woodworking, forestry, and shipbuilding, enabling the Norse people to construct their renowned longships and sturdy settlements. Additionally, Viking axes were utilized for hunting, farming, and domestic chores, showcasing their versatility and importance in Norse society.
