Ca. 3000 - 2000 BC.A nice jar carved from pink stone with white inclusions. The vessel sits on a rounded base, and it features a tapered shoulder and a slightly rounded rim. Enclosed within the body lies a hollowed basin, which may have once held offerings, or fragrant oils.Size: 80mm x 80mm; Weight: 440gProvenance: Property of a North London gentleman; from a Private collection formed in Paris in the 1970-90’s; acquired on the french Art market, Drouot.
