Ca. AD 100 - 200.A Roman 21.5 ct gold ring with an intaglio depicting a young Emperor with a laurel crown. The hair is masterfully crafted very close to Hellenistic style. The ring is round hooped with flat section. For similar see: El Legado de Hefesto n. 264 (model). This piece has undergone X-ray fluorescence analysis to confirm the metallurgical content suggesting its ancient origin and lack of modern trace elements.
