DAUNIAN POTTERY DOUBLE SITULA
Ca. 4th-3rd century BC.A pottery double situla formed of two cups joined together with a high-arching handle. Each with a truncated lower body, flat base and a globular body with a flaring mouth. Decorated with bands of waves, chains and simple linear designs. Cf. The British Museum, Museum number 1873,1206.1.Size: 100mm x 120mm; Weight: 155gProvenance: Property of a North London gentleman; from a European Collection of Italic native pottery, France, bought in Paris in the 1990s.
