ANCIENT BRONZE SPEARHEAD
Eastern Mediterranean, Ca. 1st millennium BC.A bronze spearhead featuring an elegant and symmetrical design with a double-edged blade that tapers gradually to a point. A pronounced midrib runs through the entire length of the blade, adding depth and dimensionality to its surface. These spearheads were highly valued and widely used throughout the Eastern Mediterranean during the Bronze Age. They were typically crafted using casting techniques, with an emphasis on functionality and durability. Size: L:320mm / W:45mm ; 160gProvenance: Property of a North London gentleman; previously acquire on the UK/European art market in the 1990s.
