BYZANTINE GOLD RING WITH INSCRIPTIONS
Ca. AD 500 - 800A Byzantine gold ring with a blue glass cabochon framed in a gold bezel. The ring is formed with an angular hoop, which widens on the shoulders and is embellished with inscriptions of Greek letters [AKKA LOC]. This inscription is likely of the original owner’s initials.
