Ca. AD 100 - 300 .A Roman bronze statuette of a nude Zeus depicted as a mature man with a muscular physique, shoulder-length hair, and a beard. The sculptor captured the deity in a classic contrapposto pose and with his right hand raised, perhaps once holding his signature lightning. The figure presents an idealised idea of human anatomy, delineating the finest of details.
