DIAMOND AND RUBY INLAID MUGHAL DAGGER, OR KHANJAR
Ca. 18th century AD. A double-edged steel blade with pronounced central ridge on either side and swollen tip, decorated with a green-enameled hilt with a rounded pommel and inlaid with bezel-set rubies and white diamonds. Size: 315mm x 65mm; Weight: 420g Provenance: Previous property of a UK Islamic art professional. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
