GREEK BRONZE TRIANGULAR BLADE SPEARHEAD
Ca. 800 BC. A double-edged spearhead, tapering to a point and widening at the base. A longitudinal mid-rib reinforces the blade, which terminates in a hollow cylinder for mounting onto the spear shaft. Size: 283mm x 55mm; Weight: 235g. Provenance: Private UK collection; Formerly acquired on the European art market from pre-2000 collections.
