Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 332 - 30 BC.A glazed faience amulet depicting the goddess Bastet in a cat form with a loop for suspension attached to the neck. The amulet is well-formed, with naturalistic and smooth proportions and charming details such as the large ears and diminutive face. For similar see: The Walters Art Museum, Accession Number 48.1563.
