EARLY GREEK / WESTERN ASIATIC BRONZE SPEARHEAD
Ca. 2nd - 1st millennium BC.A cast bronze spearhead featuring a triangular-shaped blade with a sharp, pointed tip. The prominent midrib runs through the full length of the blade, giving it additional strength. A small tang at the base suggests that it was designed to be securely attached to a handle.Size: 245mm x 45mm; weight 115gProvenance: Private UK collection; From an old British collection formed in the 1990s.
