EARLY GREEK / WESTERN ASIATIC BRONZE SPEARHEAD
Ca. 2nd - 1st millennium BC.A cast bronze spearhead with an elongated, leaf-shaped blade that tapers to a sharp point. A prominent midrib runs along the full length of the blade. The small tang at the base includes a rivet hole, used for securing the spearhead to a handle.Size: 285mm x 40mm; weight 125gProvenance: Private UK collection; From an old British collection formed in the 1990s.
