EGYPTIAN FAIENCE SHROUD WITH FOUR SONS OF HORUS
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A restrung beaded shroud, depicting a stylised human face, a winged scarab, and the Four Sons of Horus. The face consists of tightly arranged small beads in shades of green, black, and beige, with contrasting turquoise and red beads. A surrounding geometric border of tubular beads extends outward, creating a lattice-like framework. Directly below the face, a winged scarab is depicted, with its wings extending horizontally.
