EGYPTIAN FAIENCE SEKHMET
Ca. 300 BC. A turquoise glazed faience amulet depicting goddess Sekhmet standing on an integral base. She is portrayed with a lioness head and a slender body. The amulet has a flat back with a vertical column of incised hieroglyphs and it is perforated at the upper section for suspension.
