EUROPEAN BRONZE AGE BRONZE SPEARHEAD
Ca. 900 - 700 BC. A bronze spearhead with an elongated leaf-shaped blade tapering to a sharp point. The blade features a pronounced central midrib extending along its length, dividing the surface into two planes and further transitioning into a cylindrical socket with a slightly flared opening at the base encircled by a raised collar.Size: 210mm x 40mm; Weight: 145gProvenance: Private UK collection; Formerly acquired on the European art market from pre-2000 collections.
