WESTERN ASIATIC AXE HEAD WITH LION
Ca. 1000 - 900 BC. A bronze axe head featuring a tubular socket with thickened collars around its openings and two horizontal raised ribs in the midsection. The blade gently flares outward to a curved cutting edge.
