SUPERB EARLY GREEK / WESTERN ASIATIC LONG BRONZE SWORD WITH POINTED POMMEL
Ca. 1200 - 800 BC. A bronze sword with a waisted, double-edged blade that narrows to a rounded point. The blade features a pronounced central midrib extending from base to tip. The lower part of the blade meets a Y-shaped guard with rounded edges. The hilt is slender and elongated, with longitudinal grooves running along its length.
