Amarna Period, New Kingdom, Ca. 14th century BC. A broad bronze band with an openwork design forming a vertical composition of hieroglyphic symbols. Diagonal supports extend from both ends, connecting to a long, cylindrical rod.Size: 160mm x 55mm; Weight: 80gProvenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex. Private collection 1970s-1990s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.This piece is accompanied by an authentication statement from Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
