PAIR OF EGYPTIAN GLASS AND LAPIS EYE INLAYS
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A pair of glass and lapis inlays from an anthropoid coffin, each shaped to resemble a human eye. The sclera is made of white glass with an applied black iris.
