ROMANO-EGYPTIAN PLASTER MASK OF YOUTH
Ca. 30 BC - AD 200. A plaster mask of a youth with a slightly elongated face, well-defined cheekbones, and a gently pointed chin. The large, almond-shaped eyes are framed by finely painted eyebrows that arch above. A straight, narrow nose sits centrally, leading down to full, slightly parted lips. The hair is rendered in thick, textured curls covering the forehead and temples, with deep grooves accentuating volume. Mounted on a custom-made display stand.
