Rare Randolph Co. Alabama 4gal Churn 1870s, this concentric line decorated example has a outstanding glaze and form and what's looks to be some broken glass runs on the churn. This is one of three other examples that were potted by the same potter, and this is a tall churn with lug lifter handles with rich earthy green alkaline glaze with nice earthy brown tones in areas. This is a prime example and is very nice piece. Condition No chips or cracks and one restoration to the rim about three inches wide, see pictures and is in very well restored, will show under black light. Fine example for the Alabama stoneware collectors and will make a fine addition. Standing 18 1/2" Tall
Condition: Condition No chips or cracks and one restoration to the rim about three inches wide, see pictures and is in very well restored
