The holy Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Baruch Rabinowitz of Munkatch [1914-1997] was born to his father the holy Rav of Partzev and in 1933 became the only son-in-law of the holy Rav Rabbi Chaim Elazar of Munkatch. In 1937, after his in-law of Munkatch' passing - he became his successor, heading the Yeshiva and the Chassidic court. During the Holocaust, he managed to save many Jews and was an active member of Va'ad HaHatzalah. After the Holocaust, his wife the Rebbetzin of Munkatch passed away leaving him to take care of their young children. He remarried, became the Rav of San Paulo, Cholon and eventually a Rav in Petach Tikvah. Authored Sefer Binas Nevonim and more. His sons include the holy Admor Rabbi Moshe Leib of Munkatch and the holy Admor of Dinov.
