3 1000 Mark Banknotes with Imprints of Anti-Semitic Caricatures on the Reverse Side, Germany 1922
Three 1000 mark banknotes with various anti-Semitic caricatures imprinted on their reverse sides.
* Written on the upper part: "Surprise:" and at center there is a caricature of a stereotypical Jewish figure recoiling from a swastika around which was written: "Hitler, National Socialism."
* Caricature of a Jew with a long beard holding a bunch of papers (bonds?) and speaking into a microphone on which the word "London" is written.
* Imprint of the caption "Rauft nicht bei Juden!"
This series of banknotes was issued in September 1922.
Very fine condition.
