Bread Voucher from Litzmannstadt ghetto (Lodz)
Bread ration cards issued by the Litzmannstadt ghetto in Lodz.
According to survivors' testimony, this voucher was used for one loaf of bread per week, "We would divide the bread into portions and eat only one portion a day." (Testimony of Eliezer Greenfeld, survivor from the ghetto.)
14x17 cm. Fine condition except for 8 slips which were torn off, apparently to acquire bread. Fold mark. The card is signed and stamped.
