MESOPOTAMIAN TRIANGLE STAMP SEAL
Ca. 3rd millenium BC A beautiful Mesopotamian green turquoise triangular stamp seal with a horizontal hole piercing the seal lengthways. The stamp seal has three lovely designs decorating each face; a horse with a flaring tail, a schematic human figure that brandishes a sword, and a figural scene potentially featuring two actors. Size: 9mm x 13.9mm; Weight: 1.76g Provenance: From an important London collection of S.A.; previously in a Central London, Mayfair gallery; originally obtained from an old British collection formed in the 1980s.
