OLD BABYLONIAN HEMATITE CYLINDER SEAL
Ca. 1531 - 1000 BC. A hematite cylinder seal engraved with a scene featuring three standing figures. The central figure wears a long, flounced robe and raises one hand. To the left, a figure in a short tunic stands with one arm bent and the other extended towards the central figure. To the right, another figure in a long garment faces the scene, holding an object close to the chest.
